The Lefeet P1 XR is the extended-range version of the modular P1 underwater scooter. A 160 Wh battery and a 1000 W motor give up to 13 kgf of thrust, a 2.3 m/s top speed and up to 90 minutes of runtime.

FAQ
Can I swap the battery during a dive?
No. Lefeet says the battery must be changed in a dry environment. Changing it underwater will damage the scooter.
Can I fly with the 160 Wh battery?
FAA and IATA allow batteries under 100 Wh without restriction. Lefeet says the 160 Wh battery is also approved but airlines can restrict it, and that almost all airlines have allowed it in its experience. Check with your airline before you travel.
Do the P1 and P1 XR use the same battery?
Both share the same motor unit, so either battery (100 Wh or 160 Wh) fits either scooter. With the 100 Wh battery the motor power is limited to 500 W. The 160 Wh battery unlocks up to 1000 W.
How do I look after it after a dive?
Lefeet's routine: soak the scooter with the battery fitted in fresh water for 30 minutes, run it on a low speed for one minute while submerged (2 to 3 times), wipe it dry, remove the battery with dry hands, then let both parts dry completely in a cool, ventilated place.

The P1 XR pairs a 1000 W motor with a 160 Wh battery. Lefeet rates it at up to 13 kgf of thrust and a 2.3 m/s top speed across 5 speed gears, with up to 90 minutes of runtime. It is the longer-running of the two P1 bodies, at 3.2 kg (7.1 lb) for the main unit.

One core, many setups

The P1 platform is modular. The same scooter works as a handheld unit, on a single-hand or standard bracket, under a paddle board with a SUP mount, on a scuba tank mount that takes one or two units, or on leg mounts. Two scooters on a dual rail bracket make a dual setup. A standard sports camera mount is also available for cameras and torches.

Charging and travel

The smart battery charges through a 100 W PD USB-C charger in 2.5 hours for the 160 Wh pack and has six protection layers, including over-voltage, over-current and overheat protection. It can also discharge at up to 100 W to power a phone, camera or laptop. Lefeet advises checking with your airline before flying with the 160 Wh battery.
